Miss Mary's Art Space has turned their ridiculous eviction upside-down to fast become everything we initially wanted TheHiddenCity to be (before grad school, day job switcheroos, babies and moving overseas took over the lives of our editors). Take, for instance, Miss Mary's quarterly Screed publication (audio CD included!), or the recent residency at RPI's Chapel and Cultural Center, smartly named Mean Time. "The Mean Time installation was a very successful experiment in how our open-to-all philosophy translates to other types of spaces," says Matt Toomey, a volunteer and board member, “and it was a gas to fill this spectacular venue with the kind of variety Miss Mary's attracts – it's been a great opportunity 'in the mean time' while we look for a permanent home."
